Sunrise Over Blue Lake

This morning I remembered that I actually still had my camera in my pocket, so as I made my return home from my 13 mile walk, I took a few photos of the sunrise over Blue Lake, a small lake on the side of the cycle track, just thought I would share them.

      Thanks Jill,
I haven’t taken any for a while, usually still dark or raining at this time of year, but it was a good sunrise this morning, so I thought I would share them.
I share more as I take them.

      Thanks Andrea
The lake is very close to where I used to live with my mum and dad, I used to walk around it quite often, but it does trap the morning sunrise quite well, it’s been quite dark or raining of late so I haven’t taken as many as I would like, but I can’t resist a good sunrise.

      Thanks Diane
It really is peaceful when I walk at that time, it must have been well over two hours before I met anybody else, it certainly was a beautiful and peaceful morning.

Sunrise ALWAYS beats sunset’s ass. Always been more of a fan of the new beginnings. Beautiful!

You are so right, it’s great to walk as the sun rises in the morning, it certainly brings me balance, it’s a great start to the day.
      Thanks for the comment.

      Hi Adriana,
Thank you so much, I have some photo of the sunset behind Harbour Bridge from my time in Sydney a few years ago, I do mean to find them and post about it at some point, I’ll get to it one day.
      Thanks for the kind coment.

      Hi Anne
Please paint away, I may have took the picture, but the sun rise belongs to everyone.
I would really like to see it when it’s done though.

Oh Wayne, I am painting this afternoon for the first time for weeks – Christmas etc. I have a commission of a 16th century manor house to finish – a place in Somerset where we stayed for five weeks last summer and then … I won`t forget you.

      Thanks again
