Scenes From More Morning Walks

I’ve had a couple of days off from work this week, yesterday I had a few things to sort out in the morning, then some chill time in the afternoon, I had originally booked just Thursday off but I was given the option to take Friday as well, so I did.

Yesterday started with a good walk, it was cold and overcast, there was no fantastic sunrise, but no fog or mist either, but I did have some unexpected guests as I sat at station 20 by the side of the lake, taking in the sun’s slow rise behind the clouds.

They gracefully drifted about in the water before me for five to ten minutes, they made me feel a little selfish as they were circling, as they do waiting for the visitor to their home to throw them some bread, but I didn’t have anything, I thought about going to the shop just around the corner, but I don’t carry any money or even my wallet when I’m walking in the morning, needless to say they kept drifting by looking inquisitively and hopeful until they eventually came to the conclusion I had nothing to give them and moved on, but I enjoyed their company, even if just for a few short minutes.

The sun did try to break through the breaks in the cloud, to make for some interesting images, but after around 45 minutes and with some very cold hands, I headed home.

Today I took the same walk and the inquisitive couple came to visit again, they must have
remembered me, because this time they only stayed about a minute, realised once again I hadn’t brought them breakfast and moved on.

I love walking. No matter where I am or the weather, I always find something interesting to see. Plus, it gives me time to think, especially if I’m struggling with a problem.

      Hi Nancy
My morning walks, I take it in any and all weathers, I don’t let anything stop me, the important thing for me is the thinking time and especially when I am troubled, my time with God, nothing beats it.
It’s nice to find someone else who feels the same about walking.

Beautiful pictures! I believe animals cross our paths for a reason…these beautiful creatures crossed your path two days in a row! When a swan shows up do whatever it takes to keep your faith, it’s important to accept life circumstances and surrender to the will of spirit and trust, focus on the fact life is precious and a sacred gift, express gratitude and appreciation in many ways a possible and go with the flow in whatever changes you might be experiencing. This information came from “Animal Spirit Guides” by Stephen D. Farmer, PhD.

      Thanks Pam
The swans are certainly beautiful, I do sometimes struggle with the situations in my life, but I keep fighting and in the end trusting in God.
      Thank you again

I love these! The swans are so beautiful… we have a park in my city where we have tons of swans. It’s quite the attraction, but with baby swans… who can not love it?

    Thanks for sharing 🙂

      Hi Terry
It’s been a strange week of weather here, snow, rain and everythig in between, but it looks like spring is on the way, bring it on.
