I Can’t Help It, I Just Feel Like Crying

After a great weekend today has so far been tough, all I feel like doing today is crying.

Usually that’s something which only occurs when I’m alone, but today that doesn’t really matter, at any point, at anytime and anywhere I just get that wave of emotion and the tears will start to fall, that doesn’t matter if I’m alone or not!

This depression is setting in, it really is, but I’ve learnt this weekend not to tackle it alone, I have been talking with friends about it and later I’ll be going over to Paul and Sarah’s to talk through things with them.

It’s hard going at the moment, but I know I have support and people who care about me, I’ll keep praying and fighting all the way.

I agree here – “they” say crying rids the body of negative hormones. A friend and I have started jotting down positive stuff in “Gratitude Journals” just to force ourselves to concentrate on positive things. It’s a PITA sometimes but actually helps. Between the tears.

Best of luck to you. I know it can be difficult to get through tough times but you are definitely on the right track. The best thing you can do is lean on the people that care about you.

Sometimes we have these moments that we have to let go of the emotions building up inside of us.
Glad to hear you keep on fighting my friend!
Sending you lots of love and strength

I just logged in to post on my blog about working to find some strength even though I’m feeling down, and the first thing that pops up is your blog. God works in amazing ways. This tells me that if I look for His messages I will see them. Thank you for your honesty, and for sharing. I think I’ll give in and just go to bed early 🙂

Whenever the tears come for no reason… then they are generally deep healing tears. God with them and do not beat your self up over them. I agree with the poster 1 year of single in the idea of making a gratitude list. God will continue to make your heart tender. It is a good place to be! Blessings, and grace to you my brother and my friend. Gods peace upon those still deep wounded places that He will fill!

Yes, the best way I found to beat depression is to concentrate on my blessings. Depression only wants you to see what’s BAD and completely eliminates all remembrance of your blessings. Start simply: I have enough to eat, I have access to fresh running water, I have enough money to have a computer and internet access…SO MANY people in this world don’t have those things…depression forces us to forget how blessed we are. Once you get started, you’ll find your list grows and grows.

Just like everyone’s said before, tears are a way to let go of things that bother us a lot. Heck, I cry for the silliest reasons! But yeah, in private. 😉

    Godbless. 🙂

Just wanted to share a quote,

“Whenever I’m sad, I just stop being sad and be awesome instead!”
