Sunlight After The Dust Storm

The chances of catching a sunrise this week have been none existent, this supposed dust cloud from the Sahara has meant all week we have woke to an horizon shrouded by mist and fog, there has been virtually nothing to see.

Until this morning that is, for the first morning this week there was a brief sign of the sun, not the greatest of sunrises, but a sunrise nonetheless.

Breaking Beyond

Breaking Beyond

Shining Through Once Again

Shining Through Once Again

Burning Through

Burning Through

Light Beyond

Light Beyond

Once again, it’s a great reminder, no matter what storms we have to endure, once it’s over, we’ll see the light once more.

DUST STORM by THE SPILL CANVAS
I’ve been waiting for the wind to change,
I’ve been craving the summer rain,
I wonder when she’s gonna flood the plains.

Will I die before I get old?
Will I be known or unknown?
Can you tell me why all the birds have flown?

I don’t wanna leave a message if there’s nobody home.
I thought I saw you through the window, but I don’t know.

Stinging my eyes, It’s just a dust storm.
Caught outside, It’s just a dust storm.
Weather man lied, It’s just a dust storm.

I’ve been waiting for the moon to rise.
She’s so luminous and wise.
When she flirts with me, I feel shy.

I don’t wanna leave a message if there’s nobody home.
I thought I saw you through the window, but I don’t know.

Stinging my eyes, It’s just a dust storm.
Caught outside, It’s just a dust storm.
Weather man lied, It’s just a dust storm.

Lonely, desolate,
Uninhabited,
In the reaches of no one, nowhere.
Come hear your voice again,
Shifting sediments.

But I don’t know…

Stinging my eyes, It’s just a dust storm.
Caught outside, It’s just a dust storm.
Weather man lied, It’s just a dust storm.

Miles and miles, It’s just a dust storm.
Filling in the sky, It’s just a dust storm.
Let it pass by, It’s just a dust storm.
Ohh….

Did not know that they had dust storms in England. Wow, I am learning so much following you! We have them all the time in the state of Arizona. Thanks for sharing this Wayne!
