Verse of the Day – Ephesians 6:18

Ephesians 6:18

Ephesians 6:18

I know there are times when I’m so wrapped up in my own struggles, that I neglect to pray for those around me.

IN YOUR NAME by PARACHUTE BAND
Honored be Your name
The king among be praised
Honored of Yourwords
Your promise remains
When in a place of doubt
Your song of faith I shall
Honored of your words
Your promise remains
In Your name
There is healing
In Your name
We are free
In Your name
Our deliverer reigns
Oh, the kingdom of God
Your promise remains

Honored be Your name
The king among be praised
Honored of Your words
Your promise remains
In Your name
There is healing
In Your name
We are free
In Your name
Our deliverer reigns
Oh, the kingdom of God
Your promise remains
Your promise remains
Your promise remains
Your promise remains
Your promise remains

You make all things
You make all things
You make all things new
You make all things
You make all things
You make all things new
You make all things
You make all things
You make all things new
You make all things
You make all things
You make all things new

In Your name
There is healing
In Your name
We are free
In Your name
Our deliverer reigns
Oh, the kingdom of God

In Your name
There is healing
In Your name
We are free
In Your name
Our deliverer reigns
Oh, the kingdom of God
Your promise remains
Your promise remains
Your promise remains
Your promise remains
Your promise remains

well keep in mind that prayer is just talking to God and so I think there are all types of prayer – and CS lewis suggested that some of the best prayers are without words. But regarding intercessory prayer, well many times it can have a very fortifying effect on the person doing the praying – the act of interceding and lifting up others is powerful for what it does in the spirit realm – but also for what it does in our body – it can stir up strength and really keep us in tune with the Holy Spirit.

Also, I recently heard a Christian testimony from a guy who used to try and cast spells on neighborhoods – sounds cheesy – but it iwas what he did – and well, he said it would never work in areas where Christians were actively praying – and his reminder was that Christians should remember that prayers really do stir up the heaven lies and the darkness cannot prevail around it – and I am not even talking elaborate prayers – just simple ones through the power of Christ of course – and well, prayer makes a difference (as I know you know…:))

and one last thing we all should remember is that many times the Holy Spirit will let us know when we need to intercede for other s- which is why we want to stay in sync and in tune with Him – so we can be available when he nudges and prompts. And it can take a while to fully see how the Lord prompts – but it is so powerful and is another reminder of how intimate and personally active the Lord is in our lives.

and so in closing, I pray for you right now – that you would have a great holiday – a great week – and may you be encouraged and strengthened in all areas 🙂 -= in Jesus name – amen

    PS cool song!!! 🙂
