Stones

Stones

Will they pick up their stones
To cast them at my own
All their words rolled in a cobble
To keep me as who I used to be
But I’m well aware of who I was
I don’t need telling of the pain I caused
I’ve cast all these stones at my own
After all this time they look to cast more
Just let the stones fall and walk away
You can do no more than I’ve already done
Are they all so pure they are fit to throw
Or are they keeping secrets of their own
I am more than the sum of all my mistakes
For my Maker reminds me of this every day
