Forgiving Father – Daniel 9:9

As I grew up
I turned away
Against Your name
I threw my words
Closing my eyes
To Your ways
I blundered through
Until my disgrace
Still You never turned away
From this unbelieving son
When the moment came
You rescued me
Releasing me and setting me free
Your grace beyond measure
Mercy everlasting
To You the forgiving Father
I give You my all
