I’ve been so blind so long
Blinkered by life
Covered by scales
In a descent to darkness
Deeper and deeper
The shadows a blindfold
To the way I should go
Now that I hear You
Coming slowly to life
Lord, open these eyes
So Your ways become clear
That I may see the life
I was born to lead
