I’ve brought you to the light
By my hand delivered from the darkness
Now I weep when you return
To the shadows beyond the light
My child you belong to my light
One that will never ever fade
To the night you don’t belong
You’re my child of the day
Once more I deliver you from darkness
This I will do whenever you need me
Still my child live within the light
Let the shadows not encroach
Be my child of the light
