Not Like Them – Matthew 23:6-8
Why push to the front
Get ahead of the rest
Demanding respect
Yet showing none back
They want their followers
Just for prestige
It’s in all walks of life
People like these
But where is the truth
Within their heart
The honesty of soul
The word inside
Let us follow His lead
Our one true teacher
Be pure and unassuming
Live a life for others
Not for prestige
Not for our glory
But that of the Kingdom
And the glory of the Lord
Matthew 23:6-8
