What Do We See? – 1 Samuel 16:7

The people we see
Those that we meet
How do we see them?
With who’s eyes do we see?
Their appearance
Their smile
The dirt
Or the extravagance
Should it not be the heart
For that’s what the Lord sees
But we side only the outside
And we make our judgement
Without knowing the heart
And all the struggles it has seen
