Wanderers Path – Proverbs 4:25

Wanderers Path – Proverbs 4:25

Eyes fall from the path
To stumble
On the unseen
Hearing voices
That don’t belong
Ones from within
Of fear and doubt
And why?
Because my eyes fall
Attention wanders
I just need to focus
Directly before me
On the path straight
Laid out by God
For me to follow
No longer will I stumble
And my voices
Will fall silent
My steps will be firm
And taken in faith
Upon a path made straight
By the Lord Himself

Hearts And Shadows – Proverbs 4:23

Hearts And Shadows – Proverbs 4:23

Is my heart
Shrouded in shadow
Of all the darkness
I find in this life
Have I guarded it well
Against the despair
That from time to time
I find I walk
Oh Lord Help me
Help me guard my heart again
Help it see light
Not the shadows I find

Not Forgotten – Isaiah 49:15-16

Not Forgotten – Isaiah 49:15-16

Not forgotten
None of us
Wherever we are
Whatever the trouble
Foot of the mountain
Eye of the storm
Heat of the battle
Depths of the ocean
Or simply alone
None of us
Are forgotten
Not by the Lord

Respect The Other – Ephesians 5:33

Respect The Other – Ephesians 5:33

Respect one
Respect the other
Love one
Love the other
Man and wife
Respect for each other
Not divided
Loving one another
Just as the Lord
Loves all
And just as we
Love the Lord

Their Light Will Shine – Isaiah 58:8

Their Light Will Shine – Isaiah 58:8

Those that do good
They that give their last
Their light will shine
A glory unto God
Finding healing in the process
As righteousness goes forth
The faithful carrying out His works
Protected by the glory of the Lord

Vast Are The Skies – Psalm 36:5

Vast Are The Skies – Psalm 36:5

Vast are the skies
That reflect the highest love
Blessed are the people
Who gaze upon the skies

Far reaching are the heavens
The hold the greatest love
Loved are all the children
Who praise heaven for the faithful One

How Will They Know – Romans 12:16

How Will They Know – Romans 12:16

If they are broken
How will they know
If we are to proud to get dirty
Who will tell them of His love
And if nobody tells them
Just how will they know
That the voice they hear
In the depths of their troubles
Is the God who will save them

Always Here – Deuteronomy 31:8

Always Here – Deuteronomy 31:8

Even in the darkest place
The lord is ever beside me
In the place where I fear to go
The Lord says He will go with me
In the moment I feel so alone
The Lord’s voice I hear calling
When I feel my strength has failed
The Lord, He will never forsake me
So if I have these moments
Yet the Lord I know is always here
Then what is there to discourage me
For in the Lord I have no fear
