Moments – Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

Moments – Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

Moments come
Yet moments will go
A moment we fall
Yet a time we will stand
A moment we cry
Yet a time we will dance
A moment of loss
Yet a time of gain
A moment of pain
Yet a time of healing
In moments we hold
Yet in times we comfort
In moments we pray
Yet all times He answers

Times – Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

Times – Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

Do I remember dying?
Certainly remember coming alive
Lost count of every tears
Still cherish every laugh
What controlled me had to be put to death
To allow my healing to begin
In me seeds have been sown
And what has grown has been harvested
I have mourned in darkness
And danced beneath the light
We tore down what had gone
And built a life anew
A time for everything I have found
Yet all the best of times through God himself

Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

Today you may be crying, but keep going, keep praying, for tomorrow maybe the time for joy.

TURN! TURN! TURN! by the BYRDS
To everything – turn, turn, turn
There is a season – turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything – turn, turn, turn
There is a season – turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together

To everything – turn, turn, turn
There is a season – turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing

To everything – turn, turn, turn
There is a season – turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it’s not too late!
