Of Forgiveness And Love – Mark 11:25

Of Forgiveness And Love – Mark 11:25

True love
Is where forgiveness begins
For He forgave us
And yet loves us so
Despite of all we’ve been
And all we’ve done
All is forgotten
All is forgiven
And we are loved
Beyond all else
So if we have love
Then we have forgiveness
In our hearts
So forgive your neighbour
Forgive like the Lord
For you, yourself are forgiven
And loved beyond all else

And Thousands More – Psalm 32:5

And Thousands More – Psalm 32:5

Two thousand times
And thousands more
I’ve fallen to my knees
Before You Lord
My face so fallen
Where tears so well
In broken voice
I confess it all
This is my sin
I’m sorry
It’s who I am
I try
I try
Still I fail
A human heart
Beneath it all
Bound to fail
Yet still to grow
And how many times?
Two thousand times
And thousands more
You place a hand
On shoulder tight
And forgive my sin
Once again
A broken child
Before the loving Father
I let it out
My sorry flow
And You forgive it all
With love so great
But how many times?
On knee shall I fall
With tales of sins
Stories of woe
And how many times?
Will You forgive it all
Two thousand times
And thousands more

The Forgiven – Matthew 6:12

The Forgiven – Matthew 6:12

Have we forgotten
The debts we hold
All our mistakes
The wrongs of our past
Yet You have forgiven us
Wipe clean the slate
But still we can’t let go
When others do us wrong
We bear the grudge
Refusing to forgive
Even us the forgiven
So forgive us once more
Wipe our slates clean
And cleanse our hearts
So that we may forgive others

He Has Forgiven – Colossians 3:13-14

He Has Forgiven – Colossians 3:13-14

For what I did
For who I was
I am forgiven

For my addictions
For my sins
I am forgiven

For all the foolishness
For all the darkness
He has forgiven

So, for all they say
For all they do
I will forgive

Just as He has forgiven me

Forgive Them – Matthew 18:21-22

Forgive Them – Matthew 18:21-22

Upon the cross
He did call out
To His Father
In Heaven above
For forgiveness of them all
They didn’t know
What they were doing
His forgiveness is for us all
For all who placed Him
Upon that cross
For those who stand
Against His name
For those who sin
Against our God
And for those who sin
Against brother man
The Lord’s forgiveness
Is for all who call His name
So who are we
To bear a grudge
For we are told
To forgive them all
Not just once
Or even seven times
But in Christ’s name
Seventy seven times
Now it’s up to us
To let them know
That they are forgiven
And to tell them that
The Father loves them all

I Am Not Perfect – Luke 11:4

I Am Not Perfect – Luke 11:4

For I am not perfect
I fall and I fail
My Lord forgive my sins
It’s the weakness in me
That leads me astray
Let me also forgive those
That sin against me
Let me not retaliate
With sin for sin
Lord remove the temptations
That place sin before me
Let me be washed clean
As I seek the glory of You Lord

Forgiveness Be The Song – Mark 11:25

Forgiveness Be The Song – Mark 11:25

Let the words falls
Far away from the tongue
Words of anger
Words so strong
Stand in prayer
To the Lord your God
Forgive them all
Those who you harbour
Your harsh words
Let love and grace conquer
And forgiveness be the song
That reaches to heaven
To release you of your sin

Forgiveness – Luke 23:34

Forgiveness – Luke 23:34

Even at the end
At the point of death
He rose above
Calling out to the Father
For the forgiveness of us all
Those who turned away
And those who called for His death
They didn’t know what they were doing
Neither do we in our sins
But He calls for our forgiveness
Even through the pain
But His death brought the victory
Over sin and over death
The greatest of all sacrifices
The death of the Son upon the cross

Finding Forgiveness

Finding Forgiveness (Psalm 65:1-4)

Lord in weakness I cry out
In the dark moments I’m overcome
Yet in those times Your voices becomes strong
Your touch ignites the heart and soothes the soul
A message of clarity
The hurt that I hold
From clinging to my past
Fades, slowly fades to nothing
I praise You Lord for You forgive
Even when I can’t forgive myself
You forgot all my sin
With mercy and grace
You show Your love unconditional
