It’s for a reason
Not for my misery
But in my defining
Finer than silver
More valuable than gold
The lessons I learn
In the furnace of affliction
Define who I become
The suffering won’t last forever
But the lessons are for life

At times I know I have failed to see each test as a joy, now I feel that each test is a refining moment within the furnace, I choose to do all I can to see them as joy.
