Verse of the Day – Psalm 18:31-33

Psalm 18:31-33

Psalm 18:31-33

It’s three hundred weeks since I last had an alcoholic drink, back then I didn’t think I would have the strength to resist it pull anymore, that was until I began to accept the presence of the Lord and praying to Him, from that moment things began to change.

Then that night three hundred weeks ago I finally found the strength to say no more!

STRENGTH by JONATHAN DAVID & MELISSA HELSER
I climb up high above the tree line
‘Cause I want to see Your face
The mountains high, and the valleys deep
But You’re waiting there in the clearing
With fire in Your eyes
Fire in Your eyes

You wash me clean, with clear bright water
Running down my soul
You clothe me in the oil of laughter
And joy begins to take control
Like fire in Your eyes
Like fire in Your eyes

Strength
You give me strength
You lift my weary heart
You’re the fire in my veins
Strength
You give me strength
You raise me up again
I will never be the same
Strength
You give me strength
You lift my weary heart
You’re the fire in my veins
Strength
You give me strength
You raise me up again
I will never be the same

Oh You, God
Never grow tired or faint
You’re never gonna change the way
You love me, Jesus
And Your love
Knows no height or depth
It knows no length or width
And it’s changing me

Oh You, God
Never grow tired or faint
You’re never gonna change the way
You love me, Jesus
And Your love
Knows no height or depth
It knows no length or width
And it’s changing me

Oh You, God
Never grow tired or faint
You’re never gonna change the way
You love me, Jesus
And Your love
Knows no height or depth
It knows no length or width
And it’s changing me, again

Strength
You give me strength
You lift my weary heart
You’re the fire in my veins
Strength
You give me strength
You raise me up again
I will never be the same

I see You on the cross
I see You in the grave
I see the pain and tears
That You freely gave
I see You standing up
I hear You call my name
I see the fire in Your eyes
I see the fire in Your eyes
I see the fire in Your eyes
I’ll never be the same
I’ll never be the same
I’ll never be the same…

Verse of the Day – Psalm 25:9

Psalm 25:9

Psalm 25:9

Only when we truly get down on our knees and humble ourselves before the Lord, can He begin to truly lead us in His ways.

BEAUTIFUL SURRENDER by JONATHAN DAVID & MELISSA HELSER
You are Jesus
Son of God, Son of Man
I call You Saviour
With nail scarred hands
You will be my sun
In the morning light
Bringing redemption
To my dark night

Beautiful Surrender
Is where I wanna be
Locked into Your arms
For all eternity
Come and take my hand
You can lead me where You please
That Beautiful Surrender
Is chasing after me

I am beloved
Full of faith, standing tall
Confident and brave
Ready to fall
Into Your light
You are the voice that calls
With no reservation
Oh I surrender all

Beautiful Surrender
Is where I wanna be
Locked into Your arms
For all eternity
Come and take my hand
You can lead me where You please
That Beautiful Surrender
Is chasing after me!

Oh I surrender
All my heart and
Soul to You, my love!
Oh I surrender
All my heart and
Soul to You, my love!

I surrender
All my heart and
Soul to You, my love
Oh I surrender
All my heart and
Soul to You, my love!
Hey!

I surrender
All my heart and
Soul to You, my love!
Oh I surrender
All my heart and
Soul to You, my love!..

Verse of the Day – Luke 24:17

Luke 24:17

Luke 24:17

Christ spoke with His followers upon the road they were travelling, He sat with them, ate with them, still they didn’t recongize Him, not until their eyes were finally opened.

This is like my life, I can see now how traveled with me, how He spoke to me in the times I couldn’t see Him, not until my eyes were opened to the Saviour, the One who died for my sins.

BEAUTIFUL JESUS by JONATHAN DAVID & MELISSA HELSER
Hey Jesus, won’t You come
And dress me in Your thoughts
Pick out Your, favourite ones
I’m holding out my heart
You cover gray, empty space with
Colour from Your well
Deep love, pouring out and
Filling up my shell

Beautiful Jesus
My glorious friend
The One who never grows weary
And stays till the end
Oh, how I love You
I cannot begin to say
All of the reasons that I love
To sing Your Name

Holy Spirit, won’t You come and
Cover me in light
Illuminate the, dark space with
Colour yellow bright
Like the stars, coming out and
Filling up my night
The glory of Your, promises
You make wrong things right
Oh You make wrong things right

Beautiful Jesus
My glorious friend
The One who never grows weary
And stays, till the end
Oh, how I love You
I cannot begin to say
All of the reasons that I love
To sing Your Name
Beautiful Jesus
My glorious friend
The One who never grows weary
And stays, till the end
Oh, how I love You
I cannot begin to say
All of the reasons that I love
To sing Your Name

Oh, how I love You
Oh, how I love You
Oh, how I love You
Jesus
Oh, how I love You
Oh, how I love You
Oh, how I love You
Jesus

I love You
No one’s like You
Keeper of my heart
Beautiful Jesus
I love You
No one’s like You
Keeper of my heart
Beautiful Jesus
I love You
No one’s like You
Beautiful Jesus…

Verse of the Day – Matthew 6:33-34

Matthew 6:33-34

Matthew 6:33-34

At the moment it is far easier to take one day at a time, worrying about what is to come is far too stressful, the Christmas will come and go before we know it and we will all wonder what the fuss was about.

Each day is taken holding on to Him, without that it would be impossible to make it through.

THE GOSPEL by JONATHAN DAVID & MELISSA HELSER
I heard a melody
That amazing grace can save
It doesn’t matter what I’ve done
I’ve been washed in mercy’s waves

And they say that love only comes to those who deserve it
And forgiveness onlycomes when you can earn it
But what do they know about grace

I’ve been saved by a love
That hung on a cross
It’s the gospel of Jesus
That rescues us

Where are my accusers now?
All I see is You and smile
You don’t have a stone in Your hand
All You have are these scars of redemption

Oh, the arms of love
They fly faster than I can fall
Oh, the arms of love
They’re in this room holding us

Verse of the Day – Psalm 139:1-5

Psalm 139:1-5

Psalm 139:1-5

If I know that the Lord knows me better than I know myself, if He knows my every thoughts, why do I feel I have to hide them?

FIND ME by JONATHAN DAVID & MELISSA HELSER
I fall down upon the ground
Press my face against the earth
Till my heart it rises over my head
As the wheat it bows down low
When the autumn wind blows
I kneel before the One
I love

Find me grateful
Find me thankful
Find me on my knees
Find me dreaming
Find me singing
Find me lost in Your grace

Like the dust that You first held
In a garden where You knelt
Pull me up against Your face again
Till the breath of Your hope
Fill the depths of my soul
Till all I know is I’ve been
Found by love

Find me grateful
Find me thankful
Find me on my knees
Find me dreaming
Find me singing
Find me lost in Your grace

Like the dust that You first held
In a garden where You knelt
Pull me up against Your face again
Till the breath of Your hope
Fill the depths of my soul
Till all I know is I’ve been
Found by love

Find me grateful
Find me thankful
Find me on my knees
Find me dreaming
Find me singing
Find me lost in Your grace
Find me grateful
Find me thankful
Find me on my knees
Find me dreaming
Find me singing
Find me lost in Your grace

Find me grateful
Find me thankful
Find me on my knees
Find me dreaming
Find me singing
Find me lost in Your grace…

Verse of the Day – Romans 3:3

Romans 3:3

Romans 3:3

I have met many who have fallen from faith, many return to their old ways, this I pray will never happen to me.  Sometimes I know I struggle, I feel far from God, but never lose faith, because my biggest fear in this world is to return to my old ways, that is a place I never wish to visit again.

NO LONGER SLAVES by JONATHAN DAVID & MELISSA HELSER
You unravel me with a melody
You surround me with a song
Of deliverance from my enemies
‘Til all my fears are gone

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

From my mother’s womb
You have chosen me
Love has called my name
I’ve been born again into your family
Your blood flows through my veins

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

I am surrounded
By the arms of the father
I am surrounded
By songs of deliverance

We’ve been liberated
From our bondage
We’re the sons and the daughters
Let us sing our freedom

You split the sea
So I could walk right through it
My fears were drowned in perfect love
You rescued me
And I will stand and sing
I am a child of God

You split the sea
So I could walk right through it
My fears were drowned in perfect love
You rescued me
And I will stand and sing
I am a child of God

Yes, I am
I am a child of God
I am a child of God
Yes, I am
I am a child of God
Full of faith
Yes, I am a child of God
I am a child of God

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

Verse of the Day – 1 Chronicles 28:20

1 Chronicles 28:20

1 Chronicles 28:20

At times it easy to feel that the task set before you is too hard to achieve, we toil or simply give in.  But we need to remember that whatever it is we face, the Lord is with us, He both fights for us and supports us, if we believe in Him we can achieve anything.

ABBA by JONATHAN DAVID & MELISSA HELSER
You’re more real than
The ground I’m standing on
You’re more real than
The wind in my lungs

Your thoughts define me
You’re inside me
You’re my reality

Abba, I belong to You
Abba, I belong to You

You’re closer than the
Skin on my bones
You’re closer than the
Song on my tongue

Your thoughts define me
You’re inside me
You’re my reality

You came running down my prodigal road
You came running with a ring and a robe
Grace is the collision on the way back home
With the arms of a Father who won’t let go

Abba, I belong to You
Abba, I belong to You
Abba, I belong to You
Abba

You came running down my prodigal road
You came running with a ring and a robe
Grace is the collision on the way back home
With the arms of a Father who won’t let go

Abba, I belong to You
Abba, I belong to You
Abba, I belong to You
Abba
