Verse of the Day – Hebrews 10:23

Hebrews 10:23

Hebrews 10:23

In the times where hope seems so distant and pain so near, my Lord has been there with me, asking of me to hold on and trust in His promise and His hope, then I make it through another day and all seems so much clearer.

HEAVEN IS THE HOPE by MATTHEW WEST
We are surrounded,
by a world that’s not our Home.
We are grounded,
until it come our time to go.

And our souls are aching
with a void that won’t be filled.
Till we see our mansion,
high up on the hill.

All the tear-stained pages,
that fill the stories of our life,
will be erased when,
Love lifts up our tires eyes.

And we see Jesus
for the first time face to face
All the pain will fall
a million miles away.

Cause Heaven is the Hope that we hold on to.
Heaven is the Promise for me and for you
That all we really are is passing through
to something better.

Weeping may last all through the night,
But Joy is gonna come with a Morning Light.
Heaven is the place for you and I
are gonna live forever.

Heaven is the hope
Heaven is the hope, we hold on to.

Heaven is the hope
Heaven is the hope, we hold on to.

I am so excited
And now my heart can hardly wait.
To see all the loved ones,
That we have lost along the way.

And every sickness,
will be healed once and for all.
And every burden we have bear,
will finally fall.

There’ll be no more pain, and no more sorrow,
It could be today, it could be tomorrow,
But until he call us home,
Heaven is Our hope.

So we’ll keep waiting,
Just a few more weary days.
And we’ll keep watching,
For those clouds to roll away.
And we’ll keep walking,
Down this straight and narrow road,
Telling all the world,
That heaven is the Hope.
Just telling all the world,
That heaven is the Hope.
Telling all the world,
That heaven is the Hope.

There’ll be no more pain, and no more sorrow,
It could be today, it could be tomorrow,
But until he call us home,
Heaven is Our hope.

My heart can’t wait till that day comes,
I’m gonna hear Him say,”My child, well done”.
Till it come my time to go,
Heaven is the Hope.

Verse of the Day – Psalm 19:12

Psalm 19:12

Psalm 19:12

Most of the time we cannot see or appreciate our own faults, we make mistakes and commit sins without even knowing, still our Father forgive us.

GRACE WINS by MATTHEW WEST
In my weakest moment I see you
Shaking your head in disgrace
I can read the disapointment
Written all over your face

Here comes those whispers in my ear
Saying who do you think you are
Looks like you’re on your own from here
Cause grace could never reach that far

But, in the shadow of that shame
Beat down by all the blame
I hear you call my name sayin it’s not over
And my heart starts to beat
So loud now, drowning out the doubt
I’m down but I’m not out

There’s a war between guilt and grace
And they’re fighting for a sacred space
But I’m living proof
Grace wins every time

No more lying down in death’s defeat
Now I’m rising up in victory
Singing hallelujah
Grace wins every time

Words can’t describe the way it feels
When mercy floods a thirsty soul
A broken side begins to heal
And grace returns what guilt has stole

And, in the shadow of that shame
Beat down by all the blame
I hear you call my name sayin it’s not over
And my heart starts to beat
So loud now, drowning out the doubt
I’m down but I’m not out

There’s a war between guilt and grace
And they’re fighting for a sacred space
But I’m living proof
Grace wins every time

No more lying down in death’s defeat
Now I’m rising up in victory
Singing hallelujah
Grace wins every time

For the prodigal son, grace wins
For the woman at the well, grace wins
For the blind man and the beggar, grace wins
For always and forever, grace wins
For the lost out on the street, grace wins
For the worst part of you and me, grace wins
For the thief on the cross, grace wins
For a world that is lost

There’s a war between guilt and grace
And they’re fighting for a sacred space
But I’m living proof
Grace wins every time

Yeah!
No more lying down in death’s defeat
Now I’m rising up in victory
Singing hallelujah
Grace wins every time

Every time
Yeah, I’m living proof grace wins every time

Psalm 56:4

Psalm 56:4

Maybe I have learnt the hard way, but I have found that putting trust and my hope in God, in both the bad times and the good, I become stronger and no longer fear for my future, I look forward to it in hope, rather than in fear.

Luke 1:30-31

And God fulfilled His promise and a child was born, a child that would save us all.

SO LOVED by MATTHEW WEST
Some say they are just nothing
but some words upon a page
in a dusty old bible
at a back road revival
or a Sunday school lesson
from childhood days

yeah and some say
they’re just numbers
just some numbers on a sign
3:16, they don’t mean a thing
we see it all the time
but the world pays no mind

well, all I can tell you
is what it means to me
these are the numbers of my hope
these are the words that set me free
they tell the story of a Savior
who gave His life for me
and with all that is within me
I believe

For God so loved,
so loved the world
He gave His one and only Son
for God so loved

My daddy was a preacher
who made who I am
told me Jesus wants to reach you
and Jesus did through Billy Graham
I heard him talking through that TV
He said come just as I am,
so I came

Now in my life I’ve failed and fallen
I have drifted far and wide
I have wandered from my calling
I’ve believed that devil’s lies
But I never have forgotten the truth
that pulled me from the Bottom
from the day I joined that Prodigal Parade

For God so loved,
so loved the world
He gave His one and only Son
for God so loved
All who believe
will never die
but you will have eternal life
for God so loved

Hallelu,
Hallelujah
You sent your one and only Son
For God so loved
Every Life’s defining moment
is the moment you decide
what will you do with Jesus?
will you let Him change your life?

It’s an open invitation
calling out to everyone
it don’t matter where you’ve been
it don’t matter what you’ve done
hear that still small voice calling,
it’s calling you to come
and if these words wash over you,
your new life has begun,
your new life has begun
your new life..

For God so loved,
so loved the world
He gave His one and only Son
for God so loved
All who believe
will never die
but you will have eternal life
for God so loved

For the time being I’m taking things one day at a time, but each day I place my hope in Him.

MENDED by MATTHEW WEST
When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
When you see too far gone
I see one step away from home

How many times can one heart break?
It was never supposed to be this way
Look in the mirror, but you find someone you never thought you’d be

Oh, but I can still recognize
The one I love in your tear stained eyes
I know you might not see him now, so lift your eyes to me

When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
When you see too far gone
I see one step away from home

When you see nothing but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I’m not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended

You see your worst mistake
But I see the price I paid
And there’s nothing you could ever do, to lose what grace has won

So hold on, it’s not the end
No, this is where love’s work begins
I’m making all things new
And I will make a miracle of you

When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
When you see too far gone
I see one step away from home

When you see nothing but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I’m not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended

I see my child, my beloved
The new creation you’re becoming
You see the scars from when you fell
But I see the stories they will tell

You see worthless, I see priceless
You see pain, but I see a purpose
You see unworthy, undeserving
But I see you through eyes of mercy

When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
You’re not too far gone
You’re one step away from home

When you see nothing but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I’m not finished yet, no
When you see wounded, I see mended

Ooh, I see mended
Woah, oh I see mended
I’m not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended
