The Mountains – Mark 11:23-24

The Mountains – Mark 11:23-24

So many mountains
Yet where are they now?
So many I tried to climb
And many I tries to throw away
But what happened?
I see them no more
They don’t stand before me
For the horizon is clear
Do I do that myself?
Or through faith a prayer
Is it my belief in the Lord?
That turned those mountains aside
That tossed them to the oceans
And if the mountains appear once more
I will simply believe
Just like before

Maybe I Am Smaller

Maybe I Am Smaller

Maybe I am smaller
Over half a foot
Than the average man
But in life I am taller
For I believe I can

I have stared down the giants
They could never face
I have stood before the mountains
That they could never climb
I have walked up to the walls
That keep them all within

I stand taller than the giants
That come against my life
I stand taller than the giants
That try to keep me down

For I have defeated the giants
Their fear made them turn from
I have throw the mountains to the sea
That their pessimism stopped them climbing
I have broken through the walls
That their unbelieving holds them within

The reason I have achieved all this
Is so very simple
I Am
The great I Am within me
Made me believe I can

All For Me – 1 Samuel 12:24

All For Me – 1 Samuel 12:24

Looking back
I see the dark
That rose like night
Saw it set
Shadows on my heart

Still you came
A mighty light
Released a heart
Renewed a soul
All for me
Now I praise You so

Seeing the days
When I was so low
No hope within
Lost to fear
Letting go of You from my heart

Still you came
A mighty light
Released a heart
Renewed a soul
All for me
Now I praise You so

I remember the moments
When the storm grew
On every side
Lost in the middle
Of the storms of my heart

Still you came
A mighty light
Released a heart
Renewed a soul
All for me
Now I praise You so

At the foot of the mountain
Where the giants rise
On fallen knee
I set hope aside
To let fear with my heart

Still you came
A mighty light
Released a heart
Renewed a soul
All for me
Now I praise You so

I took the paths
Where rock and stone
Broke my steps
Made me stumble
As I fell I lost my heart

Still you came
A mighty light
Released a heart
Renewed a soul
All for me
Now I praise You so

Now I dance
Below brighter skies
Before You Lord
Where my praises flow
From the overflow of my heart

Mountains Once More

Mountains Once More

It’s cold up here
My bare feet
In the snow
This mountain’s everlasting
How far do I need to go
Before I find the end
Of the mountains that bar my way
Bare footed I stand
Clothes tattered and torn
The elements whip upon my flesh
How long can I last
Before here it is I fall
But I hear a voice
Calling upon the wind

Saying….

Lift your voice
Command this mountain to fall
Throw it unto the sea
It’s your faith inside that burns
That has the power to set you free
Call out now, call out loud
And throw these mountains
Unto the ocean wide
Then walk with me
In the warmth of day
In vast green fields
Where bare feet find life
So lift your voice
Call out loud
All the power you need
Is the faith deep inside

Of Pain And Sorrow

Of Pain And Sorrow

I write of darkness
I talk of my pain
And all my sorrow
Just to let the lost know
That there are others that feel this too
I walk a valley
With hills of pain and joy on either side
But in this valley I never walk alone
I have Christ here at my side
My path may take me to the hills of pain
But my Christ climbs with me
I may walk a hill of joy
Still my Christ ascends the hill beside me
People say if I have the Lord
Then I should not see the shadows
I wish this world was so black and white
Where darkness and pain
Permanently shrunk beneath the light
But the other looks to shroud us all
In the shadows of eternal light
And there are times this comes to us all
It’s the nature of this world
And when I go there
I cry out loud
And my Lord always answers me
He’ll be at my side
Wherever I go
Whether to darkness or the light
He’ll climb with me
The hills of joy and great pain
And if these hills become mountains
He’ll be there too
And if I cannot climb and I ask of Him
He’ll throw my mountains to the sea
So I write of pain
I write of the shadows
Because these I know
I travel these paths
But I never go alone
And I will never fall
Because I have the Lord at my side

Is It Lost Inside – Mark 11:23-24

Is It Lost Inside – Mark 11:23-24

Is it lost inside
This faith that I hold
As I stand here before
These mountains once more

Can I summons the courage
To call out beyond my pain
To pray for this mountain
To fall to the sea once again

Will I stand the test of time
To be counted tomorrow
As one who stayed faithful
And through it all joyful

Fear’s Mountain

Fear’s Mountain

And if I stand on top of mountains
My past failed to conquer
I know my Lord has gone before
Only with Him will I reach the peak
To stand and see the world below
Not from the depth I once fell
But high above where eagles fly
By His hand I’ll have made it that far
Only by His hand will I conquer a mountain of fear
If I settle for the past this will never be
To climb with the Lord is the only way

Mountains And Giants

Mountains And Giants

You’ve climbed the mountain
To find the giant at the summit
You defeat the giant
To see yet another mountain beyond
It’s a tough journey
And you’re about to fall
Can you take much more?

Stop right there
Take to your knees
Close your eyes and breathe
See behind you all you’ve conquered
With His hope set within your heart
Mountains have fallen into the seas
Giants fallen upon their knees

So rest in Him for a while
Under the shadows of His wings
Feel His strength begin to grow
A new sunrise will shortly come
You’ll rise again on eagles wings
Beyond the mountain you will fly
So rest in Him just for a while

Path Beyond The Mountain (Matthew 21:21-22)

Path Beyond The Mountain (Matthew 21:21-22)

Where have you come to
Has the path come to an end
There at the foot of your mountain
Fallen upon your knees in tears
Now there you are
Feeling afraid and all alone
Don’t you feel Him there
Upon His knees beside you
Call out in your prayer
Wish the mountain be tossed into the sea
Hold tight His hand
And believe within your heart
With your eyes closed
And your prayer deep in your heart
Know your prayer will come to pass
Open your renewed eyes
See the mountain has been removed
And walk again your path with the Lord
