Battle Or Storm – Psalm 118:5-7

Battle Or Storm – Psalm 118:5-7

No storm could be loud enough
No thunder’s roar could ever stop
You, my Lord, from hearing my cries
From within my storm
Nothing could separate
You, my Lord, from my side
What could they all do
To break me down
To silence my cries
For You are the One
That hears above the chaos
You are the One
Ever at my side
In battle or in storm
And You are the One
That would never forsake me
So I shall not fear
Any battles to come
No longer afraid
Of any storms upon the horizon
For in You I know
I will see victory

Cry – Psalm 118:5-7

Cry – Psalm 118:5-7

Take the emptiness
The distress of the moment
Ball up all the fear
And cry
Cry into the night
Cry His name
The Deliverer
He waits to answer
At the call of His name
To set you free
And stand before
So nothing comes against
For you will not fear
When you call His name
So cry
Cry into the night
Cry His mighty name

Words To A Name – Psalm 118:5-7

Words To A Name – Psalm 118:5-7

My voice has cried
Only to my Lord
I’ve seen their words
Echoing out to no one
Yet I kept my silence
Only breaking it for my Lord
They look to bring me down
But I stand with my Lord at my side
And I will not fall
Not to their words
They can beat upon my hope
But is it steadfast in my Lord
They can challenge my name
Still they will never defeat
The greatest name of all
Of the One that is my helper
Of the One who protects my soul
They will never defeat
The name of our Jesus Christ

Psalm 118:5-7

It’s Not The End

It’s Not The End (Psalm 118:5-7)

When darkness falls
Know it’s not the end
Down upon your knees
Call upon the Lord

He hears the cries
Of those that are lost
He breaks the chains
To set them free

You need no longer
To be afraid
He is by your side
So fear no man

He will be your help
Your fortress and your strength
And you will triumph together
Against all that you face

Psalm 118:5-7

It’s here, two years of sobriety, I’m thankful the Lord heard my cries and set me free.

MERCY TREE by LACEY STURM
On a hill called Calvary
Stands an endless mercy tree
Every broke and weary soul
Find your rest and be made whole

Stripes of blood that stain its frame
Shed to wash away our shame
From the scars pure love released
Salvation brought the mercy tree

In the sky, between two thieves
Hung the blameless Prince of Peace
Bruised and battered, scarred and scorned
Sacred Hands pierced by our thorns

It is finished was his cry
The perfect Lamb was crucified
The sacrifice, our victory.
Our Savior chose the mercy tree

Hope went dark that violent day
The whole earth ‘quaked at love’s display
Three days silence in the ground
This body born for Heaven’s crown

On that bright and glorious day
Heaven opened up the grave
He’s alive and risen indeed
Praise him for the mercy tree

Death has died. Love has won!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Jesus Christ has overcome.
He has risen from the dead.

Death has died. Love has won!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Jesus Christ has overcome.
He has risen from the dead.

One day soon we’ll see His face
And every tear, He’ll wipe a way
No more pain or suffering
Oh, praise him for the mercy tree

Death has died. Love has won!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Jesus Christ has overcome.
He has risen from the dead.

Death has died. Love has won!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Jesus Christ has overcome.
He has risen from the dead.

On a hill called Calvary
Stands an endless mercy tree
