The Question – Romans 5:7-8

The Question – Romans 5:7-8

Who would you die for?
If they were in need
Would you lay your life down?
For any man on the street
Maybe you don’t have an answer
Not sure that I have one either
But one thing I know
One man laid down His life
For every one of us
For those in need
And the man on the street
And He did this freely
In an act of great love
So all could be free
Each and every one of us

In Our Weakness – Romans 5:7-8

In Our Weakness – Romans 5:7-8

In our weakness
Within our sin
We’ve been loved
From before we were born
Love beyond measure
That He gave His Son for our souls
A Holy Child chose death
That we should have life
What love is this?
That we could ever deserve it
But this is God’s love
His love for us all

Surrender Before The Crowd – Romans 5:7-8

Surrender Before The Crowd – Romans 5:7-8

Could I take that cup?
Hold it there within these hands
Or pass it back to heaven above?

Would I surrender before the crowd?
If it came the time in the garden
Or run from the traitor at my side?

Could I carry that mighty cross?
To their sentence upon the hill
Or give up my soul before the lash?

Would I take the place of one to die?
Like the Son of God did for me
Or would this weak heart just stand aside?
