She’s alone
She’s lost
Thinking a world
Hates her
She’s been told
No one’s coming
No one
Can save her
She hurts herself
Over again
To try to
Relieve her pain
She doesn’t know
There is One
One to whom
She can run
A refuge
A fortress
For all who
Choose to see
Will she find Him
Before it’s too late?
Before the street
Takes another name
And erases it
From this world?
