Hold to the One
The maker
The Lord Almighty
Hold Him like no other
The redeemer
The God of all
Never let Him go

To Him we are faithful
To Him we show our love
The maker of the Earth
The God who formed our soul
In love we were created
In love we were redeemed
By the One who loves us so
So to Him be the glory
To Him we lift our praise

I know you’ve failed
I see you’ve fallen
Where tears stain
A once happy face
But the light is here
The light it shines
No longer to be afraid
Let go all the shame
Disgrace counts for nothing
Beneath the glory of the Lord
A new day is here
With it a new life
What’s passed is gone
You who are new in Christ
So look up and embrace the light
Your time has surely come
