Though we may falter
Days we will sin
Still we hold to the Father
Turning from our sinful way
If we hold to His word
He promises we will prosper
Like a tree by the stream
It’s root fed by the water
Bearing fruit for all to see
So will we be fed
To bear fruit just like the tree

My footsteps have changed
Now my path is set
My way is firm
I follow His word
His spirit will lead
And here I follow

He promised if I remain
Planted in His word
I will never fall
Like a tree by the stream
I will prosper
So now it’s up to me
To follow in His ways
